Convert Videos: How to convert DRM files.

1. Make sure the DRM file is authorized on the computer. You can play WMA/WMV files on Windows Media Player, and the program will offer instruction about how to authorize the file.

For other DRM files, you can play them on iTunes and click Store->Authorize this computer. Here are the download links for the two media players.
Windows Media Player: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/downloads/windows-media-player
iTunes: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

2. Load the video to the program by going to the Convert tab and clicking Add File. Please note that the program can't play DRM files.
3. Click the Menu >Preferences>DRM to set capture size. If the computer is powerful enough, you can choose Original Size.

4. Choose a format from the Output Format tab on the right section of the program, then click Convert to start the conversion. The program will open a separate window to play the DRM file, and record the video playback in the conversion. Please don't close or minimize the window, otherwise the conversion will fail.

Note that if the DRM video is rented or can only play on a special media player, our program will not be able to convert the DRM video. You can use the method to record the video playback of the DRM file: FAQ > Convert Video >How to convert DRM files.
