Applying Grayscale effect to Video

Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate provides high end video editing features to its customers. One of the most popular editing features is applying grayscale effect. If you want to convert your video to grayscale, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Launch Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate

The first step is to launch the Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate. The main interface appears as soon as you launch this software.

Step 2: Load the desired video

When you launch Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate, the “Convert” tab is selected by default. You can choose any other tab according to your requirement. The next step is to load the desired video file for converting it into grayscale. You can load the files in Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate by either dragging it or by clicking on the “Add Files” button at the top left corner of the screen.

Step 3: Click on “Edit” button

Once the desired video has been loaded, click on the “Edit” button to start editing the video. Clicking on the edit button will open a new window that contains a number of editing options.

Step 4: Choose “Effect”

From the pop up window that appeared on clicking the edit button, choose the “Effect” tab. choosing the effect tab will again open a new set of options.

Step 5: Choose “Grayscale” from effect templates

When you click on the “Effect” tab, it opens a number of options including brightness, saturation and templates. From the templates listed out, choose the grayscale template to convert your video to grayscale. As soon as you choose this template, the effect will be visible on the video.

Step 6: Specify the output format

Once you have converted the video to grayscale, click on “Ok” button to save the changes to the video. The next step is to specify the output format for this new video. You can choose from a variety of output format that are supported by Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate. To choose the output format, click on the “Output Format” tab in the right pane.

Step 7: Specify the output folder

Once you have chosen the output format, the next step is to choose the output folder for the resultant file. Although the Video Converter Ultimate is the default folder for the resultant file but you can change it according to your requirement.

Step 8: Start the conversion

Once you have made all the settings, the final step is to start converting the video file. You can start the conversion process by clicking on the “Convert” button at the bottom right corner of the screen. The conversion time will be dependent on the size of the video file being converted. A notification is generated once the conversion is complete.
